Paw Friendly Friday: Max
Meet Max!
Max is Debby’s two-year-old Saint Bernard who loves to be loved on! Saint Bernard’s are known for being patient, outgoing, and friendly according to the American Kennel Club, which couldn’t be more true. With his adorable head tilts, sloppy kisses and his definite stubbornness – Max keeps the office atmosphere calm and inviting (just like we like it!).
If you have ever visited The Branch studio, you know you are always welcomed by our beloved pups. Our studio is a home away from home, so of course that wouldn’t be complete without these friendly faces. If you follow Debby on Instagram, you are well familiar with the #dailydoseofmax pictures.

Floral Designer Spotlight: Twyla Rochelle
When we discovered floral designer, Twyla Rochelle, we knew instantly we needed her on The Branch design team.Twyla’s combination of being a hard worker and the passion she has for her work, makes her one talented lady. From her previous jobs of planning events in Vegas at venues like Caesars Palace and The Cosmopolitan, to traveling the coast of California as a wedding floral designer – she is nothing short of a go-getter!
This floral designer also has her own Austin, Texas based floral design studio – Remi + Gold.
Favorite Memory at The Branch?
My favorite memory at the Branch always consists of way too much coffee and designing late into the night with some of Dallas’ most talented floral designers. Debby is truly one of the most inspirational designers in the industry and takes so much pride in her craft as she should! I love the energy that she ignites into our late night design sessions and even though it’s much harder work than most people would ever expect the reward is so BIG! Getting to see the designs come to life is my favorite part of working at the Branch!
How did you get into floral design?
I always loved playing in my grandma’s garden and grew up in a small farming town so I always appreciated nature and beauty! I was 17 and in college when I first decided to intern for an event designer and just got hooked! I moved to Las Vegas and later Los Angeles to pursue my career as an event planner and designer and then moved to Texas to take on a role as the lead Floral Designer for an event-planning firm. I now call Austin home and am lucky to be in a career that gives me so much passion! [Read more…]

Favorite memory from college?
Studying abroad in Barcelona. I felt so independent and I realized my Spanish was much better than I thought. (Wish I could say that was still the case!) I met the nicest people, had the opportunity to travel all around Spain and Western Europe and was surrounded by amazing design. The architecture in Barcelona is out of this world. Gaudi, Miro, Picasso – they forever changed my appreciation for art and my personal aesthetic.
Favorite part of The Branch?
Hands down it’s Miss Tooty Tootwell herself. I love being the other half of Toots & Poots. Debby is one of my dearest friends and we have really good chemistry in general but it keeps getting better and better in terms of our ability to work well together. She energizes and inspires me. I just love working for and with a creative person. And I love her commitment toward self-improvement. [Read more…]
