I am honored to be featured in the inaugural issue of Brides of North Texas Magazine! One of my favorite brides (and weddings), Katie Kowalski, looks stunning in her short and sassy couture dress on the first page of the feature, pg 49. All the photography was done by my adorable pal and talented photographer, Kari Crowe. Check it out on newsstands today!
Cesar and Tanya Perez with Perez Photography are a dynamic photography duo! I was lucky to work with them on the Becker/ Sidwell wedding this summer. Super talented, delightfully chilled out personalities and the best business cards I’ve ever seen!
Check out their blog for more incredible photos and my flickr page for their picts from the Becker/Sidwell wedding.
When I first met with Mary and John, they presented lots of pictures, but the one I was most excited about was a floral chandelier they dreamed of having at their own wedding. Over the months that followed, we exchanged ideas, brainstormed and planned the most incredible evening for them!
The reception was held at The W Hotel Dallas ballroom. The use of all white floral created a very stylish setting: dendrobium and phaleonopsis orchids, roses and hydrangea. Check out the pictures on flickr for the surprise POP! of hot pink in the cocktail area.
Now back to that floral chandelier! Who wouldn’t go crazy for a 6ft diameter ring of lush floral suspended over their dance floor! And there’s more…a real, lit chandelier hanging in the middle, crystals dangling all around and an intoxicating scent filling the room! My pictures don’t quite give it full justice, so stay tuned for picts from Chip at Studio 563 (soon to be posted).
When I saw Mary viewing the decor before the reception started, she had tears in her eyes! She was overwhelmed with joy, proclaiming it was “a dream come true!” We hugged and gushed over the decor and she carried on about how incredible her day had been. Then, before I made my exit out the back door of the ballroom, I heard her telling a friend, “I think I’m having a love affair with my florist!” But shhh, don’t tell John. He might be jealous!
