Decor Details: Be Sage Conference 2015

We, of course, were so excited when Kelly and Michelle from Sage Wedding Pros approached Debby to be the event designer for the Be Sage Conference this year in Dallas! The design is steaming from the color of copper, which is the new gold! Debby wanted to think outside the box and really go along with the Texas-styled theme Kelly had going on – I mean everything is bigger and better in Texas! With the use of cactus’ and maidenhair ferns, the simplistic feel of Texas was really portrayed in the decor. Debby wanted to make the stage feel like a living room so if the speakers wanted to sit, they could still be comfortable and continue their presentations. Suite 206 did an amazing job putting the stage together and it paired well with our painted pallet wall.

Welcome Party at the Iron Cactus
Inspiration came from a magazine cover which portrayed a lady in a red dress on a linen couch trimmed in caneri yellow sitting in her garden with green tropical plants in the background. Red and yellow make such an amazing pair! The greens were brought in through the use of cactus’, maidenhair ferns, and succulents. We threw in some turquoise beads and cow skulls in the entry way to tie it all together.

Conference Sessions at the Adolphus Hotel
We hope everyone loved their geode take-away!

One of the innovative design aspects was the “Meeting of the Minds” pallet wall! When you checked into the conference at the entry table, you were given a light bulb to personally screw into one of letters. It pairs with their logo, a lightbulb, perfectly!

“Hot in Havana” Closing Party at The Room on Main
Debby wanted to go with a complete different theme, and Cuba came into mind! As she was looking for inspiration, she saw some really incredible photos from a magazine and found some amazing Cuba-styled decor. With the use of big palms and rich pink/orange florals. Some of the colors included  ginger-pink, birds of paradise, and pin-cushion protea.
