It Takes a Village

 

One thing I have long admired about Debby is that she is a natural networker. She genuinely loves connecting with people. So when it came time to freshen up our branding and revamp the website, it was just a natural to reach out to Nikki Nuckols – owner and creative director of Doodle Dog Advertising. Nikki was a Branch bride and understood first hand about the product and the experience we deliver. She was familiar with Debby’s passion and sincere enthusiasm for working with her clients. It was so much fun working with Nikki, and she and her team most definitely delivered!

If working with Nikki is an example of traditional networking, connecting with Lauren Jade is the perfect example of modern networking via social media. Deb stumbled across Lauren’s work on Instagram and realized Lauren was a Texas girl as well. Debby was immediately taken with Lauren’t illustrations and thought, “How fun would this be for our business cards?!”. Nikki was very open to incorporating the custom illustrations into our brand and marketing materials. Adding the illustrations was the touch of fun and lightheartedness that we wanted to balance to the classic, elegant logo Nikki had created. Adding the illustrations changed the look and feel of the website and we couldn’t be happier with the result.

Both Lauren and Nikki were so easy to work with and handled our feedback and instructions for fine-tuning with total professionalism. They knew what we were looking for and needed even when we struggled to articulate it. That’s what sets successful people apart. It’s not just the raw creative talent. It’s the ability to anticipate needs and the communication skills to explain it to the lay person.

Brainstorming together made the creative process so rewarding. We felt the way we hope our brides feel. So happy and excited to have connected. Energized by the feeling of “She totally gets it!”.

When your team extends to people and entities beyond your own walls something special starts to happen. We see this each and every weekend with our event colleagues. When each of you brings your best talents and expertise to the table with an open heart and mind you achieve the best results.
