East Texas Wedding- Part II

Following the natural style of the dining tables at the Troup, TX reception, the buffets offered even more rustic and native design elements. Large arrangements of fall leaves in galvanized buckets were surrounded by adorable fall mum pomanders (there were too many to count!).  All were beautifully placed in groupings near the copper serving dishes. Beneath the pomanders, scattered fall leaves, burr oak acorns, antlers, and bittersweet berries created a lush, full buffet scaping! Now that’s what I call big bang for your buck!

East Texas Wedding - Part I

Last November, I had the oppurtunity to design the florals for a wedding at a private ranch property in Troup, TX. In the outdoor tented reception, hanging lanterns were hung in perfect lines to mirror the farm style tables. The stylized tabletops, inspired by the natural elements of the ranch, included lots of texture (mosses, succulents, etc.), rich fall colors, and various candles and containers to create a simple, rustic, laid-back look.

Wisneski Wedding

Bride Chillon Wisneski was a dream to work with- organized, stylish and trusting. She wanted a light and airy feeling for her wedding day, held at the beautiful and always classic Warwick Hotel. The long table scapings include a variety of glass elements and tons of candles, paired with loose floral. There was such a feeling of warmth in the ballroom on this 40 degree and rainy day!
Thanks again to the talented Hansel Dobbs for the gorgeous photographs!
