What’s the recipe for a fantastic wedding weekend? A fabulous venue, a fun (and organized) wedding planner, the perfect photographer and of course, a floral designer you can trust! The Owen family had all of the above, including a dash of fireworks at the end!
Thank you to the Alison Baker and the gals at DFW Events for introducing us to Jen Owen and her super fun Mom, Debbie! The floral decor for the big day at Rough Creek Lodge was a classic palette of white, ivory and green. Jen preferred a rounded style of arrangements, with a bit of looseness. We loaded her up with hydrangea, roses and peonies galore! The lighting team from Beyond brought the tall floral arrangements in the Great Hall to life and also hung oodles of white lanterns for a festive setting!

Rough Creek Lodge in Glen Rose, TX is one of our favorite destination wedding venues! There’s something instantly calming out being out in the country, even if the install is a doozy! For the Luskey Wedding in March, we brought blooming branches to the lodge by the truckload!
A big southern style THANK YOU to Emily Clarke & Company for including us in the Taylor and Thomas’s big day! The photos below, by the talented team at Andrea Polito Photography, perfectly capture the rustic elegance the bride was looking for in her decor. The color palette consisted of soft, neutral tones of white, ivory and blush. We kept the centerpiece style more light and airy, with height achieved with the blooming branches. The base of the tall arrangements was surrounded by candles galore, with a little sparkle added by silver mercury glass. From the looks of their departure photo, I think the evening was a success!
